[Notice: Removing the paywall]
I'm very sorry for making such a selfish and irresponsible decision. I never thought I would give up on a novel. I've always believed that every story I started deserved a complete ending. But this time, I'm sorry. I've decided to remove the paywall.
The plot's complexity, the number of characters, and the length of the final work have all far exceeded my original expectations. While writing, I also discovered many problems with the initial setup. The more I wrote, the more overwhelmed I felt. I wasn't satisfied with what I was producing, and I began to question my perseverance. Those feelings turned daily updates into a kind of torture.
Two years and 1.1 million words: this is the longest novel I've ever written. I can't bear to let it go. If there were only a few tens of thousands of words left, I'd grit my teeth and finish it, giving myself and my readers a proper ending. But this story still has hundreds of thousands, perhaps even a million, words to go before it can be complete. I really can't keep at it for that much longer. I've decided to give up.
I've already decided to remove the paywall, but the process will probably take a few months.
Thank you so much to all the sweethearts who've stayed with me and encouraged me all this time. I'm sorry to have let down everyone who loved this story.
Current progress:
Dungeon One: When Darkness Falls, Close Your Eyes (complete)
Dungeon Two: Blind Box Platform (complete)
Dungeon Three: Sunset Tides (complete)
Dungeon Four: Yincheng Mall's Rules of Horror (complete)
Dungeon Five: Ascending to Immortality Through the Ghost Gate
Wu Xianyi is a coward. He's afraid of the dark, afraid of dying, and most of all, afraid of the dead.
One day, he opened his eyes.
Bad news: he'd entered an infinite game.
Good news: he could collect fear points and exchange them for puppet doubles!
Wu Xianyi: Exchange fear points? I can keep going forever!
There's no way he's going to stick his neck out. At the start of the dungeon, Wu Xianyi only wanted to cling to an NPC and stay alive.
He was determined to keep his head down and stay away from the main storyline and the monsters, until another player's head appeared in the pot of soup he was drinking.
Terrified to tears, Wu Xianyi shakily picked up a kitchen knife. "No way I can keep hiding. I'm going out there to slaughter them all!"
Solve the puzzles, strike back, clear the dungeon! All in one go!
Monsters, traitors, bosses! He takes them all down!
When livestream viewers first saw Wu Xianyi, they thought he was beautiful, but such a coward. They assumed he was just another pretty weakling who wouldn't last a day.
Then they realized Wu Xianyi wasn't just surviving one day after another. He was even starting to carry the whole team.
"I'm a coward, so I kill everything that scares me."
"I'm a crybaby. If you make me cry, I'll make sure you die!"
"So why not just stay alive? Why'd you have to provoke him?"
In the Invitation dungeon, Wu Xianyi was hunted by a roaming boss. The boss was smart and powerful, completely unbeatable.
Wu Xianyi: I'm scared, but he loses his memory every night...
Integrity is precious, but life is even more valuable.
Under cover of night, Wu Xianyi went to flirt with him. "Don't you remember me?"
"What are we to each other? We've kissed and shared a bed. What do you think we are?"
"Where's my goodnight kiss? If you won't let me sleep with you, I should at least get a goodnight kiss."
The innocent boss blushed at his lies and closed his eyes, waiting for a kiss. Instead, he felt a cold, stinging syringe at the side of his neck, and a knife plunged into his chest.
Upcoming novel: *I Don't Like Wearing Women's Clothes, and I'm Not a Player*
In his sophomore year, the campus musical needed a female performer, and Bai Shuxing was hired as a last-minute replacement.
In a flowing white dress, beautiful and sweet-voiced, Bai Shuxing became the new campus crush overnight.
Bai Shuxing responded: I'm a straight guy. I'm not dating. I'm focused on making money, and available for campus errands, printing and photocopying, game boosting, and other services. DM me at XXXXXXXX if interested.
Unexpectedly, this made him famous across campus. Everyone knew there was a straight sophomore who'd become the campus crush by dressing as a woman.
Bai Shuxing's business took off. Plenty of curious onlookers specifically hired him to deliver milk tea, just to see what kind of person he was.
Later, things started getting weird.
"There's a high school reunion this week, and my ex-girlfriend will be there. Could you pretend to be my girlfriend?"
"My buddy has never been on a date with a girl and gets nervous whenever he sees one. Could you go on a practice date with him?"
"I've never dated anyone. I just want to experience what it's like to go shopping with a girl."
"Bro, I need a favor. My family wants me to marry for business. Can you pretend to be my girlfriend and come home with me this weekend?"
Faced with these unreasonable requests, Bai Shuxing declared righteously, "Pretending to be someone's girlfriend crosses a line for me... so you'll have to pay extra!"
Si Huaiyuan had run into the same tall, striking woman three times at his newly opened restaurant, each time arriving with a different man. She'd acted sweet and adorable, cold and unruly, and gentle and refined.
What a calculating player.
On the weekend of a Si family dinner, Si Huaiyuan's nephew, a university student, refused the marriage his family had arranged for him. Today was the day he was bringing his girlfriend home to meet the family.
Everyone wore stern expressions, determined to break up the mismatched couple. Only Si Huaiyuan, the nephew's uncle and close in age to him, smiled and spoke up in his defense.
"She's here."
Behind a screen in the antique-style private room, a classic beauty in a qipao, her hair pinned up, stepped out gracefully. Her pale fingers brushed a loose strand of hair by her temple, and her bright eyes shimmered softly. She was exactly the type the Si elders adored.
The beauty looked up, revealing a dazzling face Si Huaiyuan could never mistake.
The player!
Si Huaiyuan's smile froze. "Break up! Right now!"
Theme: Fear of death isn't cowardice. It means you love this world
Your writing is very good. If you want to write in the future, you can continue writing. I searched for Infinite Stream and found this article. I feel it is better than those of the top Infinite Streams. At least I can continue to read it. Come on! ! Hope to bring better works
No matter what, the text in the previous series is very good.
In fact, many of the endings I watched in Infinite Streaming were sudden, hasty, and inexplicable. You don't have to be too burdened by the ending. I wish you a happy new year [Spread Flowers]
At first I would check for updates every day, then a few days, then a week. I also complained about how the author could be like this - not telling how long it would take to update, or even not updating at all. Say nothing. When I finally saw this explanation, I wasn't actually angry, but sad. The enthusiasm of seeing it at three in the morning and the excitement of sharing it with friends seemed too far away. It is undeniable that this is an excellent work. I also tweeted to my friends that it is not inferior to the popular Infinite Flow novels. We watched Xian Yi escape from death and become stronger step by step... We all poured a lot of love into him. I also understand the author. This book is very exciting, but it is indeed difficult to write. There are some bugs in the settings, but the flaws are not concealed. It is just a pity. Looking forward to great progress...
I gave it back and took a look [poor], I look forward to better works in the future
The author writes very well! The writing, plot, etc. Are far above the average on the list! Don't put too much pressure on me, I'll update my future works too!
It's okay, baby, I still love you very much
Thank you for sharing this story despite having to give up. We enjoyed reading it
Come on, baby! Come on, baby!
To be honest, I really don't want Shou and Gong to be together. I don't know why.
