His Majesty Has Unusual Tastes

Wen Zhimian was an utterly ordinary concubine.

One day, she woke up and discovered she had become the emperor.

She gazed at her original body, now in a vegetative state, and fell into deep thought.

The other concubines whispered among themselves: Your Majesty, since Consort Wen is like this, why don't you...

Wen Zhimian panicked. "Silence! I want to see who dares lay a hand on her!"

The concubines: ???

Everyone under heaven soon knew that the emperor had inexplicably become obsessed with a concubine who was unconscious and would not wake up.

The ministers tried their best to persuade His Majesty to move on, and even proposed holding a grand selection of consorts.

On the day of the selection, Wen Zhimian was utterly uninterested.

Yawning, she glanced over the gathered candidates, then suddenly widened her eyes.

That expression, that look, she couldn't be mistaken! It was the emperor!

Wen Zhimian pointed at a commoner woman in the crowd, trembling with excitement. "Her! Her! Her! I want her!"

The ministers: ???

From then on, everyone under heaven knew that, besides being obsessed with a concubine who was unconscious and would not wake up, His Majesty also doted exclusively on another concubine who radiated authority.

That woman was the most favored in the harem, spending every night in Zichen Hall and making all the other concubines envious.

Inside Zichen Hall

Wen Zhimian smiled nervously. "E-Emperor, how should I handle this memorial?"
