Bolded text:
This is the author’s first story. My writing is weak, and the story is much too long. (300,000 words really is a lot for a new author. *blushes*) Updates are extremely irregular, so I recommend waiting until it’s complete before reading.
[The outline is complete, and I’m definitely going to finish the story. I won’t abandon it. It’s just that my writing is so weak, and I get badly stuck when turning the outline into detailed prose. (cries)
These days, I sit down at my computer and immediately get anxious. No matter how I write, it feels wrong. This is my own problem: my writing is weak, and my mindset isn’t great either. I’m really sorry to everyone following the updates. You can hit me or yell at me. -_-||
I recommend not following along with the updates. Please wait until it’s complete. I’m sorry!]
I’ve put up a long-term hiatus notice. I plan to write a few tens of thousands of words at a time, then replace the notice once that batch is done. I’ll do my best to finish the story soon. I’m trying to pick up the pace, and the rest will follow the main plot. There are probably another hundred thousand or so words before the end. [I’ll do my best to finish sooner, but I don’t want to cut the outline short, so it might end up a little longer.]
Blurb:
One morning, Jiang Xuan woke to the sound of magpies calling and suddenly regained memories of his past life. In his previous life, he was a successful citizen of Huaxia on Earth, but died in an accident.
In this life, he’s become an inconspicuous illegitimate son in the Jiangxia Marquis’s household of the Great Zhou Dynasty, a true outsider in the marquis’s family.
This world values filial piety. Parents may fail to be kind, but children must never fail to be dutiful.
Since he’s being forced to be a filial son, then the Jiangxia Marquis and his wife had better play the “kind father and loving mother” too. Judge them by their actions, not their hearts. As long as they act “kindly,” they can all put on a show of “loving parents and dutiful children.”
Jiang Xuan isn’t picky about what he eats. He just doesn’t like being taken advantage of.
In a sentence: From an illegitimate son in a marquis’s household to an official of the highest rank.
Warnings:
1. Male protagonist, romance-focused, happy ending, satisfying read.
2. One female lead, one-on-one romance.
3. The outline has been ready for ages, and I promise to finish the story. If I abandon it, I’ll have to eat instant noodles without seasoning packets for the rest of my life, and the last egg I crack will be rotten!!!
4. The author can be a bit long-winded and likes writing author’s notes. *blushes* Ahem, you can set author’s notes to hidden on JJ. (#^.^#)
5. Of course there are villains, but not everyone is a villain, and not everyone is awful. (People have many sides. It’s not all black and white, and being good doesn’t mean being nice to the male lead.)
6. The PC version has a one-line description: “Oh, this touching father-son relationship made of plastic.” The app doesn’t, so I’m putting it here.
Upcoming stories:
“The Male Lead Held Power Over the Court in His Previous Life” - Male lead, historical romance, reborn, satisfying read.
“The Brawny Woman and Her Delicate Flower” - Female lead, transmigrated to ancient times, satisfying read. A ridiculously strong, scene-stealing brawny female lead, and a beautiful, delicate-flower male lead who’s a total fan of her.
“A Super-Satisfying Feng Shui and Metaphysics Story [Title TBD]” - Female lead, satisfying metaphysics story. A parallel world where we believe in science. O(∩_∩)O
Theme: Keep your feet on the ground and shape your life into what you want it to be
The author's writing is good and logical. He said he had a complete outline at the beginning. After all these years, readers are still obsessed with it and are extremely sticky. Why don't they stop writing?
There is no one who knows how to write better than you. Well, if you can't let it go, why not finish it off?
I really update my card every three months.
The emperor is in such good health, and the prince is not very smart. If the Song family is smart, they can develop slowly outside. If the ninth prince is smart and reliable, he might actually become a relative.
This scumbag has borrowed a lot of money, why don't you hurry up and give the male protagonist more of his property [bad laugh] From now on, General Hu Benwei will belong to the male protagonist [bad laugh]
It's been a long time, please update it a lot [bad laugh][bad laugh][bad laugh]
The V card is really at its extreme
It's been a few years since this started and it's still not finished, so it's probably going to be unfinished [covering face, laughing and crying]
As long as the author can update continuously or weekly, the results of this book will be the same.
It's really updated every three months [covering face, laughing and crying]
