I. My name is Yao Chuan. I am a traveler who has lost their way.
When I woke from unconsciousness, scorching heat and bitter cold enveloped me. I found that my memory was completely blank. I clutched a scrap of paper in my palm. It had only three points written on it:
1. Your name is Yao Chuan.
2. Stay alive.
3. Reach the end.
As I walked across this vast, boundless land, its windswept sands full of grit, I looked up at the purplish-red sky. Two suns and two moons revolved in an intersecting dance. I thought, perhaps this was what the world had always looked like.
I met other travelers like myself. They were friendly, saying humanity should stand together and help one another. They wanted to share supplies with me. They said they were strong and promised to help me recover my memories and identity. I gladly accepted.
But at night, they didn't eat the dinner I had prepared. While I slept, they stole all my supplies. Later, they fell beside the campfire, bleeding from every orifice, less than half a meter away from me.
I smiled. Another thing humanity should learn is trust.
II. In 4053, Earth was officially declared uninhabitable. The extreme environment made human life impossible, and extraterrestrial creatures turned Earth into a survival arena. Humanity had no choice but to grit its teeth and pass through one portal after another, even knowing that another hell awaited on the other side.
P.S. The story is written in third person. No ghosts or monsters, just pure survival. The romance is unknown, and the male lead's teammates are randomly assigned.
Please remember the one and only rule of this story: Don't trust what they say.
Theme: Trust makes the world a better place
