Akutagawa Ryunosuke and Akutagawa Gin were sold to the city of sin, Gotham. At the auction, the Joker, who hadn't planned to leave any survivors, took one look at the unconscious Akutagawa siblings sitting in a cage. Delighted, he and Harley carried the children away.
"Hello, little blackie. Did you come looking for me?" Akutagawa Ryunosuke, dressed in a purple suit, floated steadily in the air. Rashomon did its best to hold on to the railing and keep Akutagawa from falling. "Father and I have missed you so much. Father even complained to me at Arkham that you never came to visit us."
A loud explosion erupted in the direction of Arkham, and flames blazed. Bruce Wayne looked at Akutagawa in surprise. He hadn't expected him to turn out like this. Bruce was just about to rush forward and catch him when Akutagawa bent over and laughed like a madman. Then he straightened up and gave Bruce a faint smile. "But there's no need. Father will see you very soon."
Then Akutagawa withdrew Rashomon and went into free fall from high above. Just before reaching the ground, he used Rashomon to swing between the skyscrapers, landing precisely in the convertible Harley was driving.
"Perfect landing, big brother," Akutagawa Gin mumbled approvingly. The starry-sky lollipop in her mouth bobbed as she spoke.
"Now that we're reunited, we have to celebrate properly! And we have to bring the little Bat along! What do you say, pudding?"
"Of course. I've missed my little Bat so much." The Joker snatched the lollipop from Gin's mouth and agreed in a syrupy voice.
