A Detective Conan and A Certain Scientific Railgun crossover (mainly science-side, set several years after the main story concludes). Also known as The Sisters Regretted It That Day; Who Cares About Saving This Trash World? I'm Done! :); The Akai and Morofushi Sisters' Diplomatic Relations; Does the Morofushi Sister Have a Name Today? No!; The Two Unofficial Sisters of the Misaka Family
Extreme OOC warning, no romance, third-person narration, mainly from the sisters' point of view.
The blurb is below:
One of Academy City's urban legends (as certified by Ruiko Saten): the human-shaped Grim Reaper.
A mysterious collection of energy that moves around outside Academy City, often appearing at murder scenes under the name of "detective" and helping police officers uncover the truth. It seems to serve in the embarrassingly over-the-top role of "guardian deity of the world."
Because of an absurd prophecy, Masumi Sera is kicked out of Academy City by a certain white-haired lolicon chairman and ordered to secretly protect a certain Grim Reaper. In the name of love and justice, and to protect world peace, Masumi Sera suppresses the urge to shove a certain strongest esper's head into a toilet (though honestly, she can't beat him).
Here's the problem: Masumi Sera watches a disheveled, mustached middle-aged man keep getting back up after each failure of his "rule out Kogoro" method; watches an ordinary high school girl take on five opponents without a scratch; and watches the undercurrents between a fake-liquor cop and a squinty-eyed big brother.
Masumi Sera wears a bewildered expression. "So... who exactly is the human-shaped Grim Reaper?"
In the sunshine, the shadow of a girl on the wall stiffens, then silently shakes her head.
Theme: Masumi's past is wildly headcanon; Railgun provides the scientific cheats; the third Morofushi sibling is a cat-eyed sister (blushes)
