This was the first story I ever wrote, so the prose is immature. At the time, I was deliberately trying to capture the feel of a light novel. When I have some free time, I'll revise the parts that feel too restless.
A Journal of Life in the Mountains and Seas
1.
Jiang Changsheng is a food content creator who dies of an illness and transmigrates into the primordial world.
The pets who transmigrate with him all mutate into yao beasts, lose their memories, and go mad. They pin him down and try to kill him!
Jiang Changsheng: "Sweeties, do you remember those delicious, nutritious meals I used to make for you?"
The savage orange cat gripping his neck, the vicious husky clamped onto his head, and the furious golden hamster gnawing on his butt all freeze at once.
*
"In the distant primordial age, there was a spirit-food restaurant. The ancient ferocious beast Qiongqi worked as its bodyguard, while the merfolk, nine-tailed foxes, phoenixes, and Ju Ru were among its regular patrons. The mountain god with a dragon's body, horse's body, and sheep's body, but a human face, sang its praises. Countless cultivators who had attained immortality came down to the mortal realm just to queue up.
The day the Jade Emperor personally appointed Jiang Changsheng as a True God, many powerful figures came sneaking over to curry favor with this Heavenly Court 'celebrity.' They asked why the incense offerings and merit at his temple were more abundant than those of many thousand-year-old sects, and why his followers were spread throughout the Three Thousand Worlds, the Four Seas, and the Great Wilderness.
Jiang Changsheng: '...I only opened a restaurant. How could I have known it would turn out like this?'
2.
The Mountains and Seas Restaurant welcomes different guests every day.
The strange beast Ju Ru asks him to find its benefactor. A yao carp asks him to save a deaf boy. The sea folk of the Dragon Palace thank him for resolving a crisis there. The people of Nanyu City, whose crops have all failed, see him as their savior. The citizens of Ping'an City, shrouded by the shadow of death, look to him to save them all...
Jiang Changsheng: Ah, it seems our restaurant really does offer a wide range of services.
At first, all he wanted was to survive in the dangerous primordial world.
Later, he met many strange beasts and many people. Each of them had their own struggles and their own purity.
Those who were lost found one another here, and friends who had been separated were reunited.
Though the world changes in an instant, whenever he looks back, someone is still there to give him the gentlest response.
(Up ahead: various magical little creatures from the Classic of Mountains and Seas!)
[PS: This isn't purely a food story, and probably isn't a childcare story either. I was new to Jinjiang and didn't know any better, so I picked the title on a whim. It leans toward an ensemble cast, with farming and adventure as the main plot.]
This story is based on the five volumes of the Classic of Mountains and the thirteen volumes of the Classic of Seas.
.
Most of the story has been revised. It may not be complete on other platforms, so please support the official version on Jinjiang! (*^▽^*)

The Gluttonous Taotie Gets Rich by Eating!
After arriving in this world of psychics, Shi Jiu had only one simple, down-to-earth wish: to eat his fill.
Alone, he wandered the wilderness, eating whatever he could find. He devoured an illusion conjured by a psychic.
And then... someone took an interest in him.
He thought that person wanted to take advantage of him.
But instead, the other man brought out a recruitment list for the Knights.
"Shi Jiu, your abilities are transformation and psychic energy absorption. We're offering a generous salary. Think it over."
Shi Jiu gladly accepted, thinking he'd misunderstood the man.
Later, he realized that the man really did want to take advantage of him.
Humans are so devious.
Back then, no one thought a seemingly delicate young man like him could amount to much, until they saw him reach the very top with their own eyes.
A certain playwright: I once planted countless clues and wrote about our future again and again. Even though all those words have disappeared, I still want to try one more time.
A certain puppet-type psychic: At first, I thought of you as a brother. Later, I was glad we were still brothers.
A certain clown, sea demon, and strange woman: A worthy opponent.
A certain someone: Mm, he's mine.
Shi Jiu: "..." Help!
Shi Jiu had always disliked that man.
But that day, when he lay in a pool of blood and thought he was about to die, it was that man who held him.
Watching the wounds on his body gradually heal, he thought, This man has really kept his cards close to his chest.
He's so arrogant, yet he's a healer.
.
Gong Xuan had never used his second ability on anyone else.
Then he made an exception.
He once thought his sword could only hurt people.
Later, he discovered it could also peel fruit for him.

It's finished. I like this furry mountain and sea adventure story.
The ending of "Spreading Flowers" is pretty good. The first book is so great. I'm looking forward to the next one, hehe.
Is that, that,...?
Finished spreading flowers!!! Come on! Very well written!!!!
Finished Spreading Flowers, looking forward to the next one^0^
Time passes and the bully gets older and leads an ordinary life. Gong Shizhu took another road. From now on, the road was very wide and long, and he never met these people again. He said he didn't care at first. Maybe I'm touched now, but I don't care.
It's been so sweet lately, and the temperature here has also risen (laughs)
Ah... I almost forgot about this supporting role. I thought I wouldn't die, but ended up dying. It was quite a pity. After thinking he was dead, he turned out to be alive...
Press the paw, Meow Meow is really a little angel
It's very beautiful, spread the flowers!
