Premise: To portray the bold and brilliant bearing of the famous Three Kingdoms general Zhou Yu, feather fan in hand and silk headdress on his head; his spirit in defeating a superior force with a smaller one, fearing no powerful enemy, and vowing to defend his homeland to the death.
It's a good read. I really like Zhou Yu. When I watched Romance of the Three Kingdoms, I felt that Zhuge Liang was transformed into a god and demon, while Gong Jin was smeared into a narrow-minded and petty person.
Luo Guanzhong supported Liu's feudal ideas and opposed Cao's, and promoted Zhuge Liang to the sky. When I read historical records, I didn't realize how powerful the Shu Kingdom was, and I didn't like Zhuge Liang even more after reading Wang Xiaobo's "Coconut Tree and Equality". I have always liked Zhou Yu.
