Synopsis

An alternate-timeline Daigo Sawamura gets transported into the original timeline. His surroundings may have changed, but as long as he can play baseball, everything's fine! In the alternate timeline, Sawamura never went through Seido's recruitment process. Instead, he went to high school in Nagano. After graduating, he stumbled into the pros and, through plenty of ups and downs, became a middle reliever on the major league roster. His path was different, but he still developed his numbered pitches. No pairing. Is he doted on by everyone or bullied by everyone? Theme: For the boys who fight for what they love: never give up, keep striving and moving forward.

Ace of Diamond and Oblivion Battery Fanfiction

I'm clearing out my bookshelf and giving everything four stars. There are lots of free stories and unfinished ones. I'll write my thoughts after I have time to reread them. Most of my recommendations either feature competition arcs or don't vilify Rongchun.

Baseball (Ace of Diamond / Forget Eight / Original)

Baseball stories. I'll add new ones as they come out. Several promising new stories got abandoned, and I'm still crying.

Ace of Diamond / Baseball

I'll update this when there are new books. Honestly, if you read baseball stories, you have to be prepared to sit in the pit, but baseball is just too good! Feel free to comment and chat.

Sports and Competition

I absolutely love sports anime: so much passion and excitement! Just recommending these. My ratings and reviews are a little halfhearted, and some of the reviews got mixed up.

Ace of Diamond Collection

All fanfiction, and every one is readable. I mainly ship Mize, but there are original stories too. The writing is great, and I love them all!

Ace of Diamond Fanfiction

Recommendations for Rong Chun-centric fanfiction. I prefer feel-good power fantasies, but there’s so little to read that I’ll take anything (please let there be more goodies!). I’ve added everything I’ve read, so pick whichever ones you like!

Obscure Fandoms and Reader's Block

Most of these are abandoned! Mainly Diamond no Ace and baseball-related works, both original stories and fanfic. I read all sorts of things, with a bit of Katekyo Hitman Reborn, La Corda d'Oro, Touken Ranbu, and soccer, but those make up only a small fraction.
