[I'm organizing my documents lately. This is an old idea and synopsis.]

Synopsis:

Deep in the Ninth Heaven lived Emperor Jun Yu Ciqi, who maintained the balance and stability of countless worlds. One day, he divined a bond of fate.
Besides himself, the people involved included a woman he had never met, but who had been the subject of a scandalous romance rumor with him for quite some time.
The woman was Immortal Venerable Yan Li, who had ascended just two hundred years ago. She was volatile, unrestrained, ruthless, and had fought every immortal in the Ninth Heaven except him since arriving there. She had become a shared nightmare for them all.
Recently, she had fallen into a deep sleep because she was trapped in a small world of her own creation and couldn't escape.
Now, an immortal under his command, who monitored the countless worlds, had reported that the small worlds she had embedded in those realms were collapsing.
To stop the collapse from creating tears in spacetime, and to understand and resolve the bond of fate between them, Yu Ciqi temporarily used a red marriage cord as a guide to enter Yan Li's small worlds, find her, and help her escape.
But he hadn't expected that once he went, the marriage cord would never come off again.

By convention, the person Yu Ciqi possessed in a small world should have been chosen at random.
Yet in Yan Li's small worlds, the people he possessed in each life always had the same name and appearance as him. They were also the doomed first loves of the villains Yan Li had become in those worlds.
In every life, the woman feared by the world, a demon in their eyes, would carefully hold him close and softly ask again and again, "We'll be together forever, won't we?"
The way to save each small world was to persuade the evildoer to turn to the good, but the villains in every life were not very cooperative.
One was a capricious devil who warned, "I only wish to return to the light under your guidance."
Another was a fierce tyrant who advised, "I only wish to become a wise ruler with you by my side."
Another was a dangerous criminal who bargained, "I only wish to do good deeds under your watchful eye."
Yu Ciqi smiled. Interesting. It seemed those scandalous romance rumors in the Ninth Heaven hadn't come from nowhere.

In a stretch of time Yu Ciqi could no longer remember, he had once visited the world Yan Li originally came from.
In that world, she was a rebellious disciple who had fallen for her master, but was unable to confess her feelings because of propriety and duty, and so developed a heart demon.
And he was... the master who died to break her heart demon and give his life for her path.
Though her heart demon had vanished, her love remained.
From then on, she pursued the Great Dao for him and crossed the void, searching every realm for him.
At last, she found her way to the Ninth Heaven and saw the Emperor Jun who lived in its deepest reaches, a figure the immortals could only watch from afar, never approach.
She wanted to get close to him.
Looking at the Emperor Jun who seemed separated from her by countless mountains and rivers, Yan Li plotted in her heart, thinking slowly.
She wanted to have him.
She would have him.

1. The small worlds are either female-dominant or ABO, while the main world is female-dominant.
2. The heroine dotes on the hero and will scheme to make him fall in love with her, but she will never harm him, physically or emotionally.
3. More details to be added. (This is only a synopsis for now. I'll wait until I've finished the apocalypse arc next door before I revisit it... I can't dig myself into another hole TAT.)
