In one world, Miha Film and Sound, the world's most powerful film studio, announced plans to make a new series of films set in the world of Genshin Impact, following the global success of its hugely popular Honkai series.
With its fully realized world, complex and profound story, moving bonds between the characters, and casting that fit them perfectly, the Honkai series had won countless fans around the world over the past decade.
So when news of the new project broke, the entire internet erupted.
"Ten minutes to recap the masterpiece of the Honkai series: Honkai Impact 3rd"
"Miha Film's ambition: the new film series Genshin Impact is about to be unveiled. Has the studio run out of ideas, or is another triumph on the way?"
"A roundup of the beauties of the Honkai series: the women."
"Guess which familiar faces will appear in Genshin Impact!"
Amid all this eager anticipation, Miha Film announced that, for the first time ever, the Genshin Impact film series would star newcomers.
The whole internet was soon embroiled in a new debate.
This is the story of the talented newcomers Ying and Kong as they set out on their acting careers.
Please note:
1. Ying is the main viewpoint character, though there will probably be plenty of scenes from the perspectives of other actors. Since Kong's role as the Abyss Prince is small, he will not appear much in the films.
2. This is an alternate modern world with fantasy elements, including elves, beastfolk, and other races. It is not a typical entertainment-industry story: everyone gets along, with no backstabbing or drama.
3. The characters and the actors playing them share names for convenience, but their personalities are only about sixty to seventy percent alike, and will be adjusted to suit various jokes and real-life circumstances.
4. To reiterate: the characters and the actors are not the same person! The actors portray the characters, but they are different from them! For example, actor Ying plays the Traveler Ying in the film, but their personalities differ! If that's not for you, don't force yourself to read it.
Theme: Everyone gets along.
