Hogwarts had recently gained a new ghost lady. No one knew where she had come from or why she was there.
Helena looked down at her transparent body, closed in on herself, and became a "C-language master." She opened her eyes to find herself dead from the start, playing on hell difficulty. She didn't want to see anyone... or rather, no one could see her, except the drifting ghosts.
Until one late night, she finally poked her head out through a wall to enjoy the stars and pass the time, only to catch a second-year Slytherin sneaking out.
The boy's eyes were dark and brooding. He was obsessive, twisted, and arrogantly proud.
No one loved him, not even himself.
He had already accepted his fate, convinced that he didn't deserve anything good.
Helena knew that, but she wasn't afraid.
Instead, she felt an endless surge of strength and love, and floated over to wrap him in the warmest, most devoted hug in the world with her ethereal body.
Severus, she called him softly in her heart.
I once regretted missing your past, but fate brought me here.
I came to love you early.
Long time no see, my professor.
Helena was delighted, already imagining a thousand different plans to protect Severus.
Severus coldly watched the unfamiliar ghost hug him and smile. He pretended not to see her, while absorbing every detail from her stream of self-talk.
After turning down the corridor, he covered his chest in confusion. Something there was uncontrollably urging him to turn back and ask her for help.
He recorded the strange sensation in his diary.
Much later, Severus wrote again: "The potion of salvation truly exists."
Use a cold, incorporeal spirit to embrace a broken heart.
When a person is utterly helpless, even an ethereal ghost will cling on with all their strength.
Someone reaches out a hand and pulls him back to the world of the living, to see the beauty and warmth in the world, even if that person is nothing more than an ethereal ghost.
And yet, sunlight still found its way into the dark world.
Did you hear him crying for help?
His whole being, his very soul, is begging for help.
His mouth has long been sealed shut, his throat has long been gripped tight. He can't make a sound or show any sign of distress.
HELP.
Save him.
The heroine and Snape have already been in a relationship. See The Hufflepuff Girl and Her Professor, the extra story for this one.
The Marauders' Era, Helena and Snape.
There are original elements, which will be mentioned in the story.
This is a sweet romance, so there's no angst to worry about.
