Back to the Seventies: Beachcombing and Raising Kids with My Rugged Husband

◆A heartwarming slice-of-life story about a beautiful female educated youth and a rugged man gathering seafood, raising a child, and cooking in the 1970s ◆Lots of seafood-gathering scenes Blurb: In her previous life, after her family suffered a calamity, the beautiful Yu Liuliu traveled a thousand miles across the country to become an educated youth in the shabby fishing village where her stepmother's family lived. She went there carrying hatred for her stepmother, so she disliked the little fishing village intensely. She was fed up with the honest, friendly fishermen and despised the clams, snails, shellfish, crabs, shrimp, fish, abalone, and seaweed from the village. She even developed anorexia and grew frighteningly thin. The male educated youth who had come with her didn't look down on her, and she thought the dawn of love had arrived. Little did she know she was being deceived from beginning to end. She broke down and jumped into the sea to her death. The one who braved the raging waves to search for her body, heedless of the danger, was the village's most notorious bad element, forced to write deep self-criticisms every day and endure beatings with sand without fighting back. No one knew that every night, the tall, thin, dark-skinned rugged man would come to her grave and whisper his passionate love to her. He would cry silently until his throat was hoarse, then leave, only to sleep with her memorial tablet in his arms when he got home. As a ghost, Yu Liuliu blushed. She stayed by the man's side for years, witnessing everything he did, including how he stopped at nothing to avenge her... - One day, reborn, Yu Liuliu decides she wants the man to hold her soft, warm, living body, not her memorial tablet to soothe the ache of missing her. She also wants to go out to sea with him every day, pushing off at sunrise and bringing in the nets after dark, then give him a little one who can carry a bucket along the beach and pick up shells...
