The Little Crown Prince Who Picked Up Trash in the Prosperous Tang Dynasty

My other book, Song, I'm Building a Career at the Kaifeng Prefectural Court, has just launched and is updating now. Come give it a try. Synopsis: In the ninth year of Wude, Li Chengqian woke up after a serious illness with a completely changed personality. The clever and well-behaved young prince instantly turned into a little rascal. At his own investiture ceremony as Crown Prince, he ran away. Seven-year-old Li Chengqian suddenly had a System in his mind, along with many memories from a "transmigrator." From those memories, he learned that he had a miserable life! His mother was gone, his father favored others, and he suffered one serious illness after another. Because of the so-called throne, he became lame and died young. He wasn't going to be Crown Prince anymore! The System was amazing. It could take him traveling through time and space in his dreams, and it said he could take anything in this world that belonged to no one. Things that belonged to no one? Got it. The little Crown Prince of the Tang Dynasty started picking up scraps. A half-eaten sweet potato in the trash? A good thing. Take it! Green wheat seedlings the farmers had pulled out and thrown away? Take them! Peach pits, apricot pits, and apple seeds left behind by the kindergarten kids? Take them, take them all! The impoverished Tang Dynasty suddenly had sweet potatoes, potatoes, corn, chili peppers, and tomatoes. With Li Chengqian around, life in the Tang Dynasty kept getting better. What do you mean he didn't want to be Crown Prince? How could that be allowed! The entire court of civil and military officials knelt and begged him to become emperor! Synopsis dated 2021.12.15 Piracy protection rate: 60%. Notes: 1. This is not a historically accurate Tang Dynasty. The story contains invented plot elements and differs from history, so it is not historical fiction. It's a light, easy read. Just treat it as an alternate-universe Tang Dynasty. If you think the characters are out of character, that's on the author. My writing skills are limited, so please understand.
