"Gentle Moonlight" is an old-school, melodramatic angst novel about a male Omega protagonist whose life is unbearably tragic after he falls for a scumbag Alpha.

Shen Cen is lucky enough to transmigrate into the story as the scumbag Alpha, who torments the protagonist again and again, yet is still regarded as his first love.

In the original novel, Bai Yuegao is the most honored Omega in the entire empire. He gives the scumbag his heart, his soul, and even a kidney. In the end, he even gives his glands to the scumbag's beloved.
