Here's a preview of my upcoming novel, I Started It and Abandoned the Entire Insectoid Race. The blurb is at the very bottom.
Blurb for this novel: (Entering the paid section on February 19!)
After her game receives terrible ratings and players file complaints, game planner Tang Haila has no choice but to enter the game herself and complete every route.
From the start, she gets a beginner's gift: the game server is attacked, and the game world becomes disconnected from reality!
Bugs are everywhere, and there are more freaks than you can count. Everyone in the game is a villain.
A giant octopus eighteen stories tall stands in a steel city. Whale mutants possess the songs of sea demons. There are parasitic beings with human torsos and snake tails, humans with fluffy ears and leopard tails, and monsters with human upper bodies and pitch-black tentacles for lower halves... Every species is in chaos.
Faced with bugs across the whole map and pitiful players crying out for help, Tang Haila has no choice but to wear three secret identities, constantly bouncing between being exposed and getting caught in love-triangle drama.
She thought this would be an inspiring story about a beautiful, strong heroine who overcomes hardship to become a savior. It would be even better if she didn't have all these bizarre characteristics.
A frail girl curls up in filthy mud. She has extraordinary talent but no armor to protect herself. Countless powerful figures offer her shelter, intending to force her to obey beneath their terrifying shadows.
But the girl throws herself into the arms of a black-haired monster, her eyes blurred with tears. "But I already have someone I like."
The feeling of using another one of her secret identities to become a powerful figure's romantic rival is, well, pretty great.
An Antarctic expedition discovers a hexagonal black box beneath a glacier. They take it back to the base laboratory, where an accident releases the decayed microorganisms sealed inside for over a billion years. They multiply and spread like mad, and a virus called "Black Mirror" rapidly ravages the world.
It writhes and seeps through surfaces, reproduces asexually, and possesses consciousness. It is highly aggressive and has the power to beguile. Its genes are beyond human understanding, and countless deranged followers believe it is an emissary of God.
So far, humanity knows only one thing about it: any living being it infects completely loses its nature and reason, transforming from soul to shell into a gigantic creature that makes your sanity plummet. (Its appearance is unknown, and there may be more than one kind.)
Then, one day, a tender young creature is born in its nest.
God is born.
[Reader's Guide]
· The heroine has three secret identities. She generally avoids being exposed, and the identities have a selfcest element (I love myself), though the romantic pairing isn't selfcest. Expect a harem-style love triangle.
· The first identity is a boy who handles the fighting and physical strength. There is no romantic plotline with the same sex. See the cover. The second identity is a sweet, soft girl. See the cover. She first appears in Chapter 9.
· Includes Lovecraftian elements, tentacles, and nonhuman characters.
· Chuunibyou, anything-goes style, Mary Sue.
· Includes unrequited love.
Blurb for I Started It and Abandoned the Entire Insectoid Race: After quitting her job at the observation tower, Su Rong decides to collect scrap for quick money because she's short on cash.
Hearing that there's been a traffic accident on Highway 301, with metal parts scattered everywhere, she decides to make a fortune. But at the scene, she sees a woman who looks exactly like her.
A white-haired man covered in blood crawls out of the car alongside the woman and smiles as he takes Su Rong hostage. "I'll give you a million. I want you to pretend to be my dead fiancée."
Thinking of her chronically ill, good-for-nothing body and the enormous debt her parents left behind, Su Rong completely ignores the man's sticky tentacles hidden under his clothes and his inhuman slit pupils. She treats him as her client and diligently cooperates with him.
Then one night, Su Rong suddenly realizes that the woman who died in the accident was her in a previous life, and the white-haired man was the killer.
Maybe she should go back to collecting scrap. At least that way, she can earn money safely.
She has a warm body, gentle, bright eyes, and a moist nest fit for giving birth. She is the beacon of hope we have waited tens of thousands of years to see.
She is mother, wife, and queen of the future generations.
"She left us behind."
"Go bring her back."
Reader's Guide:
1. The heroine is unhinged and will split apart. She can be sweet and beautiful, and she can also evolve into an ultimate freak.
2. The heroine is so beautiful that she attracts many unrequited admirers.
3. More to come.
Theme: Survival of the fittest, and reaching the pinnacle of evolution
It's really interesting. Is the author out of inspiration or doesn't want to write 😭, please finish it well and give this article a perfect ending 🙏, this setting is so novel that I still remember it three years ago. I'm really begging you, author, I can write one chapter in a few days, and it will be better gradually 😭 😭
Oh my God, you finally changed it
I am getting increasingly impatient in waiting. Is it time to give up? To be honest, it's not even about fattening or not, you simply stopped updating. Even if it's one chapter a week, is there any reason why I can't talk about it?
Oh my gosh, it's really hard to update every three months without making people suspect that you are stuck on v.
(Light a cigarette. Jpg) (Look into the distance, take a deep breath) (Decadent. Jpg)
What child, whose child? When I saw the update, I clicked in.
This is considered stuck. I haven't updated it in a long time.
Can just receiving supplies be considered a first-level mission?
Why hasn't it been updated (tears)
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, basis-in-going basis--authors, I really like this article, I hope it will be updated ▄█?█●
