[Welcome to pre-save]
Si Kou is in love with her senior, Chi Houling, the Sword Pavilion's eldest disciple, as gentle as the breeze and bright as the moon.
She makes no effort to hide her feelings. At the sword competition, she watches only him. During morning lessons, she insists on sitting beside him. Outside the sword-practice pavilion, she waits from sunset until the moon rises, just to bring him a bowl of spirit soup.
Even though he remains distant and indifferent, she never grows tired of it.
Then a spy infiltrates the sect, and the Netherfolk learn of it and attack the Sword Pavilion. The elders and disciples all rush to meet them in battle.
The rear mountain falls. Only Chi Houling cuts through layer upon layer of miasma with his sword, finding Si Kou's hand amid the chaos.
The young man's voice is as cool and distant as ever. "It's not safe here."
Si Kou blinks. "Are you worried something might happen to me, Senior Brother?"
She smiles. "But I'm the spy."
Chi Houling replies evenly, "I know."
Si Kou is astonished. "Everything I said about liking you was a lie."
Chi Houling gives her a cool glance. "I know."
Si Kou looks smug. "I'm leaving with the Netherfolk soon, so you don't need to see me off, Senior Brother."
Chi Houling slices through her message talisman with his sword and grips her chin with long fingers.
He leans close and sneers. "I know."
*A story about someone who knows everything but just can't control himself.
*Si Kou is a little lunatic, not a naive, sweet girl.
