Turning a straight guy gay + friends to lovers

-

To turn his friend, who has a hopeless crush on him, gay, Lu Lin poses as a psychiatric expert at Lanshi Third Hospital and gives Fu Yao online therapy.

After the college entrance exams, Fu Yao is utterly heartbroken and decides to give up. He asks the doctor how to move on. The treatment proves highly effective.

But when freshman year begins, the two end up in the same dorm, and everything takes a sharp turn for the worse.

Fu Yao: [Aaaaah, Doctor! I got assigned to the same dorm as him at college! It must be fate! Goodbye, Doctor! I'm not getting treatment anymore. I'm going to turn him gay!]

Lu Lin: ?

-

Dorm life is like walking on thin ice.

They act stiff and hostile toward each other on the surface, while Lu Lin spends every day secretly on edge.

Fu Yao: [Doctor, he's so cold to me. I want to confess to him at the freshman welcome ceremony and scare him.]

Fu Yao: [Doctor, he smiled at another girl. Maybe I should try wearing a skirt too.]

Fu Yao: [Doctor, he wants to get a girlfriend. I want to die.]

Lu Lin has no choice but to repair his relationship with Fu Yao in person and keep his distance from the girls, while calming Fu Yao down online.

Until one day, Fu Yao messages him: [Doctor, he's being nice to me again. We slept together, he curled up in my arms, then leaned over and kissed me.]

Lu Lin is so shaken that he replies outright: [How could I possibly kiss you?]

Fu Yao: [?]

Fu Yao: [Doctor???]

-

Some time later.

Lu Lin posts anonymously on a relationship forum: [I'm straight. My friend is gay and likes me. He's younger, and I'm used to taking care of him. When he's sad, I want to comfort him; when he feels wronged, I give in; when he's in a bad mood, I soothe him... We share a dorm, eat together, go to class together, and share a bed when we travel, but I'm not attracted to him. That can't mean I like him, right?]

Straight Guy Flirts with a Gay Guy and Gets Struck by Lightning: [And you still think that doesn't mean you like him? Hah, straight guys.]

Psychiatrist at Yanda University Hospital: [Hello. This may be a sexual orientation identity disorder, low libido, or asexuality. We would need to assess your specific situation.]

Lu Lin adds the doctor as a friend and asks for advice: [Hello, Doctor.]

Across the room, Fu Yao slowly curls up the corners of his lips and types two words: "Hello."
