[Harry Potter] A Selfish Person's Way of Falling in Love

Blurb:

I'm Draco Malfoy's fiancee. This all started when I was five, but it's a long story, so I won't get into it.

I was very unhappy when our engagement was arranged, so I decided to stay away from him to show how firmly I opposed it. I went to Durmstrang, but in my fourth year I transferred to Hogwarts because I'd decided he wasn't so bad after all. I wanted to "work on" our relationship before graduation.

I'm Draco Malfoy. I was engaged when I was five. I wasn't too happy about it at first, but when I found out who she was, I decided it wasn't so bad. But then I saw her frown and complain about it, and I got angry. No one gets to turn down a Malfoy.

What made me angriest was that she went to Durmstrang without even mentioning it in her letters. If I'd known, I would have taken my father's suggestion and gone to Durmstrang too. At least then we could have gone to school together.

But in our fourth year, she transferred to Hogwarts. I was so happy. Now I could tease that "Potter" for not even having a girlfriend. What? She said we weren't boyfriend and girlfriend, just fiancees. Does she really need me to make it any more obvious? What a silly girl.

There are lots of headcanons. I made them all up, and I have no outline, so I'll just write as I go. The heroine might seem like a Mary Sue, but I like her. If that bothers you, feel free not to read.

Just so you know: updates are whenever inspiration strikes. You can ask for more, and I might just update! In the end, it all depends on how things go.
