Jiang Yue Bai woke in the middle of the night and opened the door that someone had been knocking on nonstop. A woman stood outside in the pouring rain.
The woman brought her father's inheritance: a whole box of gold bars, and herself.
To receive the inheritance, Jiang Yue Bai had to take care of the woman.
"Miss, please take me in." The woman begged in a soft voice, showing her delicate face. "Ying Ge can do your hair, cook, and sing little songs for you."
Jiang Yue Bai looked at her impassively, then swept her out the door along with the gold bars.
