The Tool-Man Hero Refuses to Let the Heroine Cling to Him

The trumpet vine climbed up the tall hibiscus tree.

When it reached a point higher than the tree, it bragged, "Look at me! I'm so beautiful, so strong, so amazing. Otherwise, how could I be taller than the hibiscus tree?"

The hibiscus tree, the male lead: Yuck.

The hibiscus tree, the male lead, said, "Get lost. I'm going to find my phoenix tree."

We share the cold, the wind, the thunder, and the lightning;

We share the mist, the mountain breezes, and the rainbows.

As if forever apart,

Yet bound together for life.

That is what great love is,

And this is where devotion lies:

Love,

not only your towering form,

But also the place where you stand,

The earth beneath your feet.
