As the last hope of his kind, Feng Yi came to the Natural Sect bearing a blood feud.
As the last Wutong divine tree in the world, Feng Yi initially wanted only to protect himself and become an elder in the sect, so he would never again be hunted by his enemies.
Many years later, he gazed at the sky he had cleaved apart with his own hands. When he looked back, only heaps of dry bones remained.
He had personally killed every last one of his enemies. From then on, all the world was empty, and everything had turned to nothing.
The Divine Wutong
In this book, the male lead is kept as a male pet by his scummy senior sister early on, before eventually killing Meng Ci, the scummy senior sister who humiliated him.
Scummy senior sister Ying Meng Ci, who saw this book in the Prophetic Mirror during a trial: ?
She looked utterly baffled and was extremely confident in her own noble morals.
As if! She was the universally acclaimed beacon of righteousness.
That is, until she returned to the sect and saw the junior brother who would drive her mad.
A moment ago, Meng Ci had been certain she could never lose her morals. Now her pupils trembled. She clenched her fists, then let them drop, and curled her lips into a carefree, playful smile.
Oh my. So it's him.

After taking revenge on the enemies who had wiped out his people, Feng Yi killed Meng Ci.
Why? Perhaps because she had pushed him off a cliff. Perhaps because her possessiveness made him afraid to speak to any of his fellow disciples. Or perhaps because the only girl in the sect who had ever been kind to him died by her sword, hacked to pieces in a sight so terrible it made people shudder.
But when he
remembered the summer downpour they had shared beneath a banana leaf, the winter sunrise they had watched together on the mountain peak, the evening breeze on the cliff, and the pipa she played,
he was like a fool, endlessly thinking of her, endlessly thinking of her.
But his luck was truly terrible. Only after she was already beneath the earth, her bones eaten away by yellow mud and reduced to fragments, did he hear the truth: long ago, the younger sister of the guardian god who had died protecting him, the young princess of the Huang clan, had a beloved divine tree.
Without seeing that tree, she couldn't sleep night after night. She went mad night after night.
And, unfortunately, that tree had apparently disappeared during one of her trials, taken away by someone.
Feng Yi suddenly remembered the day his senior sister had taken him to see the beloved tree she had sealed beneath countless layers of protection. She had said, “I asked the young princess of the Huang clan for this. I'm giving it to you.” Only later did he discover that the tree was his own secondary branch.
So Feng Yi asked the name of that young princess.
Someone answered:
Her name was Ying Meng Ci.

I offer up all my possessions, my life, my everything, in the hope that she will grant me one light kiss.

There are a lot of potentially upsetting elements, and I don't give warnings. This is a clumsy little thing I wrote to pass the time. I write, you read. I'm no good, and I don't have a bike. “A lot of potentially upsetting elements” means the secondary couple's storyline may include a bad ending and similar things. If you'll read anything, come on in. If you only want sweet, feel-good stuff, head to the top right. I don't mind people posting warnings in the comments. I don't do it because I'm lazy. I just hope everyone can stay chill and not start fighting. Feel free to insult me, just don't let it ruin your health.
By the way, the reason the secondary storyline has a bad ending is that, though my writing could use readers' encouragement to ace the high school entrance exam (I don't need it myself), I'm still trying to explore a few things. I hope the comments can connect with that. Of course, you can just insult me, too. (Lying down.)
I'll write what I write, and you can say what you like. The leads are both my precious babies, but you matter even more. Insult me all you like. Since I don't want people to think the comment section is toxic, you can visit my homepage and find somewhere to send me a private message and curse me out.
The male lead's growth arc is important, and the pairing won't change. Feng Yi is repaying Si Yu's kindness. His feelings for Meng Ci are a case of Stockholm syndrome. Yi Yi is a responsible person. Regardless of Si Yu's gender, he would still duel Meng Ci. No need to get hung up on it (besides, it's all the same person).
The female lead is a piece of trash, but when it comes to Feng Yi, she's a stalker and a hopeless romantic to the extreme. (This is stated outright and hinted at in the plot after the first ten chapters, so you can take it that way for now.)
Courtesy names used in the story: Ying Meng Ci's courtesy name is Buci; Zhu Che's is Feng Yi; Ying Boyao's is Mokai; Ye Xiwei's is Huishu; Mi Yin's is Yixin; Lu Jingchun's religious name is Youshi; Ying Mian's title is Buzhou; and Shu Can's title is Crown Prince Xiaode.
There are lots of potentially upsetting elements, no logic, and writing like an elementary school student.
A simple, timid weakling who's slow to catch on and quick to forgive others × a highly intelligent, cold, pathological possessive woman who sleeps constantly
Theme: A story about a yandere woman and a devoted husband of a man
It seems that there is a sentence in Xiaoshitanji or some ancient text that says, "Forgive yourself, I will give you one."
