Beep... Beep... Beep...
"Welcome to White Dragon Horse City-State. Three years remain until this place is destroyed... All... all... all residents serving here, please take note... From this point on, escape on your own... Beep, "
The infamous interstellar city-state was about to be destroyed. To escape this notorious "slum" on the edge of the universe, An Ran had no choice but to pick through garbage while trying to save enough money to get aboard a spaceship.
Then one day, she found something huge in a garbage heap...
In the year 2808 of the Solar System, seven hundred years after Earth was discovered by an extraterrestrial civilization, the human race had split apart.
As a fourth-tier civilization, Earth was unsurprisingly colonized by an alien second-tier star system. Humans, a newly discovered commodity to be traded between star systems, were sold across countless systems and planets and used as goods for every imaginable purpose.
As a member of a fourth-tier civilization, An Ran's daily routine was to disguise her human identity so the life-capture teams wouldn't find her. Her daily task was to keep herself alive while maintaining her disguise.
Her greatest dream was to one day see her homeland again, that blue planet.
If she could, she hoped to return to that blue planet.
In the endless universe, the grand journey of any species, the birth of a planet, the passage of history, and the hopes of countless lives are all no more than a speck of sesame seed.
But even if we are ants, we can still kill an elephant.
Note:
A transmigrated, fast-footed heroine × a mechanical masked hero
This is a non-human love interest! A non-human! A non-human!
1. The heroine grows stronger over time. This is a growth story, not an overpowered wish-fulfillment story. The author loves watching a weakling grow strong and build a business from scratch, and can't write a heroine who's invincible from the start.
2. The male lead isn't human. He's a masked, mechanical-headed character. His body is similar to a human's, but made of different materials, so he looks more or less mechanical. For his appearance, think medieval armor with some sci-fi elements, or the helmet designs from Armored Core.
3. The characters have extremely low moral standards. There are lots of deaths, as well as disturbing and horrifying scenes. The story includes discrimination and other depictions that are far from morally upright. If that's not for you, feel free to leave.
4. The male lead isn't human, so his morality and values differ from ours. (Most non-human species in this story, aside from the male lead, have their own moral codes. Human morality only applies on Blue Star. Don't impose human values on them. The values of other species may be incomprehensible to people from Blue Star, but are normal to them.)
5. At first, the heroine and male lead use each other and don't get along. Their values differ drastically, and they are forced to adapt to each other because their interests and lives are bound together. Their later relationship is also built on mutual benefit.
6. The values expressed in the story do not represent the author's values. The values expressed in the story do not represent the author's values. The values expressed in the story do not represent the author's values! (Some details are there to serve the plot. Please don't make a huge issue out of them!)
7. I'm terrible at science, so this leans more toward soft sci-fi. The worldbuilding is all made-up nonsense. (Tears)
8. Points one, two, and three are important. Please read them more than once.
9. I haven't thought of the rest yet. I'll add it later.
