[The Grave Robbers' Chronicles: Reboot] My Dad Is Wu Xie

When Wu Xie was in college, he fell in love with a girl surnamed Wang. They planned to tell their families after graduation, but after they graduated, the girl disappeared. Wu Xie searched for her for a long time but found no trace.

Unbeknownst to Wu Xie, in a secret Wang family base, a group of people stood with guns in their hands. In their midst was a pretty, delicate-looking woman: the very girl Wu Xie had searched for so desperately.

The Wang family had locked her away in a place no one knew about. A year later, she gave birth to a child, hers and Wu Xie's. As soon as the child was born, the Wang family tattooed a phoenix on him and assigned him a specially selected instructor, who trained him to become an emotionless killing machine.

The child's mother never appeared in the Wang family again.

When Wang Yan was ten, the clan leader told him that his purpose in life was to eliminate a man named Wu Xie, the greatest obstacle to the Wang family's survival. Wang Yan's partner was a woman named Su Nan. They had both been raised by the Wang family from childhood to be tools for dealing with Wu Xie.

Later, Wang Yan discovered that Su Nan intended to betray the Wang family. He held his knife to her throat and demanded to know why she was betraying the clan. Su Nan told him:

Wu Xie was his father, and his mother had also died at the hands of the Wang family.
