Drunk in a Southern Dream (Matriarchal Society)

Su Lanke has no idea how she transmigrated into a matriarchal world.

When she arrived, she had no maids or servants, wasn't a princess, and had no fortune or handsome men surrounding her. She appeared out of thin air outside the gates of Huangcheng, and that very day, a strange man took her in.

Everyone else who transmigrates into a matriarchal world gets to call the shots and have handsome men at their beck and call, doesn't she?

As for Su Lanke, she knows she's not cut out for that. There are handsome men around, and she's met more than one, but she didn't save them. They were the ones who found her.

He, Tian Hen, had been independent ever since his only close relative, his father, passed away. He had studied under a master and never considered himself inferior to women. He knew his delicate, feminine features wouldn't appeal to women. But then he met her. At first, he only wanted her to be his wife in name, so he could carry on with his life. Who knew that the feelings that had lain dormant for so many years would bloom because of her? (Hen is an archaic form of “disobey” or “defy.”)

He, Nan Cheng, was the beloved young master of the Nan family. But his mother wanted to climb the social ladder and marry him off to a middle-aged woman! Nan Cheng didn't care if she was a royal or a noble. He was determined to run away and claim his own happiness! Who knew he would meet her along the way? If he could marry her, Nan Cheng would gladly do so.

The heroine isn't all-powerful or strong. She's a little absentminded, gentle on the outside but not exactly tough inside, and calm in how she handles things. She's somewhat innocent, but not a self-sacrificing saint.
