Please add my next book, "Swapped Destiny," to your reading list!
Synopsis
Lin Liang is one of the thousand-household commanders of the Fourteenth Office of the Embroidered Uniform Guard. For years, she has disguised herself as a man and served under the Guard's commander, risking her life for him and helping him rise through the ranks. She had thought that their childhood bond and all they had endured together meant he cared for her too. But during one mission, he abandoned her without a second thought.
The Court of Judicial Review and the Embroidered Uniform Guard have never gotten along. Many officials of the Court have fallen into Lin Liang's hands, and now that she is in their custody, everyone is rubbing their hands together, eager for revenge. Just as they prepare to charge in with every kind of torture instrument, Su Ziye, the Court's Minister, lightly waves his sleeve and enters ahead of them.
Everyone exchanges glances. Their lord must hate this wicked woman so much that he couldn't wait to torture her himself!
What no one expects is that Lin Liang, a thousand-household commander of the Embroidered Uniform Guard, is a woman.
Everyone: ?
Even more surprising, she eventually marries Lord Su.
Everyone: !
.
Su Ziye recognizes her as the person who helped him when they were children. He had meant to save her life and call it even.
Keeping her by his side is merely a temporary measure. He has no other intentions.
But later, when he meets the woman's clear, bright eyes, he realizes he can't honestly claim to have a clear conscience.
"I'll investigate whatever you want to know, and give you whatever you want."
"Now that you're by my side, A Yu, don't even think about leaving."
Synopsis: "Swapped Destiny"
Sun Lanying has known since childhood that she was promised in marriage. The half of a jade pendant kept in her room is the token of their engagement.
She has never even met her betrothed, and Sun Lanying has no wish to honor the arrangement.
But when a villain sets his sights on her, with nowhere else to turn, Sun Lanying can only summon her courage and take the token to seek his protection.
Her fiance is the bandit chief of one of the Eight Strongholds. Sun Lanying regrets coming as soon as she reaches the stronghold's gate.
But the gates swing open, and when a handsome young man steps out, Sun Lanying still blushes and shyly hands him the token, calling him "my lord."
He indulges her in everything, even agreeing to her unreasonable demand that they marry within ten days.
On their wedding night, beneath her red veil, Sun Lanying's cheeks glow, and she speaks in a sweet, tender voice:
"My lord, this auspicious day was chosen for us by my father before he passed. Thank you for granting my wish."
The jade-faced gentleman is handsome and elegant. He lifts the veil with a finger and slowly draws it away.
"Just don't regret it, my bride."
The marriage is already a done deal, and her husband treats her with such tender care. What could she possibly regret?
She hears that her husband's younger brother will be coming to live with them in a few days.
Sun Lanying tidies up the room, but no matter how long she waits, the second young master never arrives.
"Could he have lost his way in the mountains?"
Worried about her husband's brother, Sun Lanying goes to find her husband and discuss what to do. But as she reaches a corner, she catches sight of a familiar figure. He has his foot on someone's head, and the man beneath him struggles and shouts:
"You killed my elder brother and took my sister-in-law by force! Even as a ghost, I won't let you get away with it!"
Ling Liulang's family was destroyed by villains. Later, he killed his enemies with his own hands. With blood still on them, he was ready to kill one more person when someone came to his door.
But to his surprise, it was a delicate young woman who sweetly called him "my lord."
My lord, Zhao Daliang, the man who killed his parents!
Ling Liulang hides his bloodied hands behind his back. His eyes lower, full of hatred, as he smiles at her. "Yes, I'm Daliang."
He lives with her under another man's name, thinking he will tell her who he is someday. He never expects that day to come so suddenly.
Theme: Keep striving, persevere, and stay optimistic
I wish Ayu and Mr. Su a long and happy life together, spread the flowers! ! !
Finished reading, very good! It's just that the details in some chapters are a bit messy, which made me a little confused, but I really like Linlang and Master Su, a combination of literature and martial arts made in heaven.
I think the physical strength Master Shan is talking about is wedding entertainment, horse riding, etc. The male protagonist seems to have thought too much and his face turned yellow.
Why does Bald Donkey like two beauties? Linlang's mother is so miserable...
Happy New Year to everyone in advance hahaha
Second child, you can't do this, you have to learn to be subdued and fight with the stalker!
He didn't write much, but I was deeply impressed by the old Marquis, such a good grandfather.
Let me leave a paw print first: I feel that Yunqi and Linlang are not related by blood. I don't know if my guess is correct. Yunqi is just a tool in the eyes of the masked man.
Congratulations on the completion! Happy New Year in advance!
