Transmigrated to the Republican Era to Become a Detective

Synopsis Mystery writer Kang Shixuan dies while saving someone. To his surprise, he transmigrates to the Republic of China era and becomes a police superintendent at a patrol station in the public concession in Old Shanghai. Kang Shixuan is fairly satisfied with the job. He works there while spending his free time writing mystery stories and publishing them in newspapers. He also banters with a forensic pathologist who's returned from studying abroad and solves a few cases. Life is pretty exciting. 1. Original fictional setting, not based on real people or events. 2. The male lead won't date anyone before leaving Old Shanghai, so there's no CP. He and Male Supporting Character One are colleagues and friends. 3. I want to write a brotherly bond between Male Supporting Characters Two and Three. (Ahem, let me know if it starts going off track.) There may be other side pairings, but I haven't decided yet. The synopsis was uploaded on November 30, 2021, and has been screenshotted. Theme: Seek the truth and solve mysterious cases.
