What kind of lasting impact will the people of Teyvat have on the innocent world of immortal cultivation when they stumble into it? Maybe none, but chaos is guaranteed. Take it from the Traveler, speaking from the heart. The esteemed Rex Lapis is working as a waiter in a restaurant, drawing a crowd of young women and married ladies who come to watch. At the Traveler's astonished look, Rex Lapis remains expressionless. "By generally accepted reasoning, what I'm doing is..." "Hey, what's with you, young man? Big Sister Traveler will forgive Klee, right?" Klee pleads adorably. "Of course. But next time, Klee, don't listen to him." The Traveler gently ruffles Klee's hair, then turns and finds Venti hiding, her expression turning blank. "Barbatos, could you stop teaching children bad habits?" "Hehe, Traveler, want some fish?" "T-Traveler, Sayu is so sleepy. I really want to sleep. Can we talk about this after Sayu wakes up?" "You didn't exactly ask me, either." The Traveler says helplessly to the already-fast-asleep Sayu. "Tartaglia, stop! You can't beat that person!" "Traveler, I'm just challenging myself." A story about the Traveler being invited, or rather forced, to bring the friends they meet on their travels back to Teyvat. Content warnings! (In bold, by hand) 1. The writing is terrible! Absolutely terrible! The author has no idea how the plot and logic will turn out, so read at your own risk. 2. Not every character will appear, and the blurb doesn't include everyone. 3. The Traveler's gender will be played down. Aside from the young girl characters calling her Big Sister, you can imagine they're calling her Big Brother instead. (They're called Big Sister in the story because I chose Lumine.) 4. There are a few original elements, concerning how they end up in the world of immortal cultivation. 5. Paimon is in it, but she's captured right at the start and has very little page time. She might not appear again until the finale. 6. No pairings for anyone, and there may be some out-of-character moments. 7. See Chapter 47 for the New Year special. Also, I recommend starting from Volume Two. I got carried away writing the earlier plot, so the Genshin Impact characters may seem like they're just there to make up the numbers. (They are.) This cannon fodder had an incredibly impressive identity. She ascended the throne as an empress despite being a woman, and even had an entire harem of male consorts! Unfortunately, luck wasn't on her side. She died in her bedchamber on the very night she took the throne. Her cause of death was unknown, and she was nothing more than a plot device to introduce the heroine. As for that so-called harem, it was clearly prepared for the heroine! But I don't care. As a lazy couch potato, my greatest dream is to be beautiful, rich, and free. As long as I sit back and wait for the heroine to rebel, I can fake my death when the time comes, then take my fiercely loyal captain of the secret guards and a pile of banknotes and go laze around! As for governing the country, a job no sane person would want, I'll leave that to the heroine to worry about. Sadly, reality never lives up to the dream. There are always a few little troublemakers who refuse to let me live in peace. Predictably, this peacock, who was always getting in the way, not only tore his own clothes, but also let my rabbit get away! It was a nimble, swift rabbit. I'd already decided how to cook it the moment I caught it, but the peacock let it escape! So was I wrong to punish him by making him raise rabbits for me? No! * I thought my life would carry on in this ordinary, uneventful fashion, until one day I looked at the heroine, diligently helping me review memorials, and realized something horrifying. Where was the heroine's harem? Where was her ambition? Had I made her review memorials for so long because I wanted to slack off? My biggest goal was to get the heroine to rebel! I wanted to be alone, at least before my beloved captain of the secret guards asked me who this Jingjing was. I really did. * One-on-one, and the male lead is in the blurb. 1. At heart, it's a rivalry between men (probably, if I can manage to write it). 2. The original heroine isn't vilified.
