Falling in Love Starts with Self-Love

Shi Yuxi was reborn, returning to twelve years earlier in the body of Jiang Chiye, the girl from the house across the hall who had been beaten to death by her abusive father.

On the first day as Jiang Chiye, she did something she'd always wanted to do in her previous life:

She smashed a liquor bottle over the head of Jiang Chiye's drunken father.

Then, on the street, she ran into Shi Yuxi, who was being bullied.

After her parents died in a car accident, everyone thought Shi Yuxi was a jinx. She grew sensitive and insecure, becoming someone anyone could bully.

Sometimes Shi Yuxi thought it would be better to die than keep living.

Until Jiang Chiye chased off a group of thugs with a steel pipe.

Shi Yuxi found someone who shone brighter than the light itself.

Then her light took her home and carefully glued together her torn-up homework.

[This is an early version of the premise. I'll keep revising it.]
