What should you do when every morning you wake up with only the memories you had before your eighteenth birthday?
Thanks for asking. I'm screwed.
What should you do when your younger brother gets his own family into trouble and then runs off?
If a kid won't behave, find him and give him a beating.
Qiansui Ming, female, 24 years old, part-time detective at the Armed Detective Agency, currently suffering from a truly spectacular case of amnesia and looking for her missing idiot of a little brother.
When a stranger who acts like an old friend strikes up a conversation, Qiansui Ming coolly gives them the three-part response: "Don't know you. Don't remember you. Goodbye."
When she's alone, Qiansui Ming frantically flips through her notes and wonders: What on earth have I been doing for the past six years to know so many weird people?
She gets rid of her troublemaking childhood friend, the bandage-wrapped maniac, refuses a Russian rice ball someone offered her for free, and fobs off a clueless apprentice she doesn't remember taking on...
Why do more and more people keep showing up? Has she somehow gotten trapped in a huge love triangle?
This is bad. If she puts this off any longer, she's done for. She has to bring this mess to an end as soon as possible.
I've made up my mind. I'll find my idiot little brother as soon as possible, get my memories back, and then happily leave this mess behind to travel the world, Qiansui Ming!
[Reader's Note]:
*The blurb may change, but the central amnesia premise will stay the same.
*OOC, lots of original elements, wish fulfillment, and weak logic. The CP hasn't been decided, and there may not be one.
*Mainly Bungo Stray Dogs, with a brief appearance by the Five. Those are the only two series.
*The heroine is a snarky, intelligent older-sister type.
*I've always loved this amnesia premise. The heroine has been hit by an ability, and remembers only up to midnight on her eighteenth birthday. After that, each day's memories are erased at midnight, so anyone who shows up late will always be a stranger to her!
Theme: Love life, no matter what
