Fujiwara Kiyoi transmigrated.
The good news: She seamlessly begins her second life without drinking Granny Meng's soup. This time, she's born into a top political family, with beauty, money, and power. You could say she has the perfect start.
The bad news: Tokyo has a city called Beika, Ikebukuro has an urban legend about the "Headless Rider," Fukuoka has the Kyuushuukai, and bosozoku gangs run rampant... The country's safety index is below 30. A quick search through her collection of otaku knowledge confirms it: this is a hellish world.
The good news: When she was seven, her father adopted the scriptwriter brothers from the neighboring production: Dazai Osamu, Edogawa Ranpo, Ayatsuji Yukito, and Fyodor. And this is a Detective Conan world with no supernatural powers. If that's not a golden finger dropping from the sky, what is?
The bad news: She was kidnapped and lost her memory, and, by sheer bad luck, forgot all that useful otaku knowledge. Her relationship with her new brothers became strained, and amnesia kept her from recognizing her golden finger.
The good news: By being sincere, she still managed to win over her scriptwriter brothers.
The bad news: She was too successful. Her brothers respected her independence and let her rely on her own ideas.
Fujiwara Kiyoi, after regaining her memories: Don't ask. I regret everything.
She'd had countless opportunities. All she had to do was call out, "Help me, big brother!" and her four brothers would have placed all of Japan at her feet. But she hadn't cherished those chances.
Instead, she chose to make her own way. Even Zhuangzi would have praised her for her unwavering determination.
Here you'll find:
#Edogawa Ranpo and Ayatsuji Yukito competing fiercely to become the world's number one detective#
#Dazai Osamu working hard to earn honest money, support his little sister, and solve the family's problems#
#Fyodor quitting the Public Security Bureau and going into politics to improve the national safety index#
#And Detective Conan characters whose lives are being thoroughly arranged by the scriptwriters#
Reader's notes:
1. Set in a Detective Conan world. The Headless Rider and Hakata feature only briefly. No one anywhere has supernatural abilities, including the brothers who crossed over.
2. The brothers were children when they crossed over. They were not adults shrunk down to child size.
3. A much-loved heroine story. No confirmed pairing, and very likely no romance.
4. The heroine is 20 at the start, with flashbacks to her childhood along the way.
Theme: Face death and live, seeking meaning along the path to survival.
