While preparing for a newly commissioned TV series, a copywriter at a film company becomes deeply immersed in that mysterious period of history. She hopes she can travel back in time, witness history firsthand, then return and provide first-hand material for a serious historical drama. Or perhaps making a name for herself on the “Lectures on Chinese Classics” program wouldn't be a bad choice either. As fate would have it, she really does travel back in time. Not only does she become a witness to history, she also becomes a participant. She wants to stay out of it, but no matter how hard she tries, she can't escape.
