This novel is for readers who enjoy behind-the-scenes workplace stories about the entertainment industry.
It tells the story of a rookie agent helping their idol return to the top.
Male lead (Li Minye): Once the entertainment industry's top-tier star, he was sidelined by his company after a scandal, bringing all his work to a halt. Even his original agent was reassigned to manage someone else. But what really happened? No one knows except those involved.
Female lead (Su Ruofan): A rookie agent who has been in the business for only a year, she is assigned to manage her own idol, a former top-tier star. She can keep following her idol, and she has to take care of her career too. All they need to do is reach the top together.
Both leads grow over the course of the story. The romance develops slowly, while the career storyline takes up more of the novel. The story is told mostly from the female lead's perspective.
