Jian Yue has a slight fear of socializing. After graduating from college, she turns down a high-paying job and goes home to take over her grandma's modest little snack stall. Her days are simple and happy.
.
Then a new delivery order breaks the peace.
Order: Hot and Sour Glass Noodles
Address: /?$~&*#+|!
.
Staring at the garbled address, Jian Yue is dumbfounded.
It's a mandatory order. She can't cancel it!
.
She tentatively makes the hot and sour noodles and taps to mark the order ready. No delivery rider in a yellow vest arrives. Instead, a giant octopus wearing a yellow vest shows up!
The palm-sized octopus slowly crawls over on its eight tentacles, looks up, taps the sandal towering above its head with a sticky tentacle, then points at the hot and sour noodles on the table.
.
Jian Yue: ???
She watches as the octopus carries the takeout container on its head and crawls into the drain. Is she going crazy, or is the world?
.
She's not crazy. Earth-style hot and sour noodles are taking the interstellar world by storm!
*
This is the story of a bunch of broke interstellar freeloaders who pull out all the stops to come to Earth and get free food and drink.
