Gentle as the Night

[Selfish playboy top x devoted, humble bottom]

[Angsty short story | First-person narration]

Jiang Yu treated me well and mistook me for Lu Jinbai. I took that as love.

Love is always about each person getting what they want, and sometimes it's unrequited. The mistake was that Jiang Yu couldn't help falling for me, Lu Jinbai knew nothing about it, and I read far too much into everything.

Jiang Yu and I owe each other nothing.
