I posted the wrong advance notice and can't delete it. Since I happen to have an idea for a short story, about 30,000 characters, enough to plant a little tree, I'll leave the draft here and fill it in slowly.
No need to save this one. Updates will be very irregular. I'll probably only write it when I'm feeling down, have time, and need to wallow in my feelings~
* Not sweet, not swoony, not satisfying
* Leans toward the bizarre. Watch your sanity level!
* This story is genuinely unhinged!
* It's probably a story about love guiding a monster on the verge of collapse toward the light
* The protagonist is the monster (don't hit me)
Su Lan has a strange illness.
Every flake of skin he sheds, every strand of hair that falls out, and every nail he clips turns into a completely new version of himself.
He lives alone in a city, controlling tens of millions of versions of himself.
Like an ugly queen ant, he feasts each day on the food his worker ants bring him.
Until one day, his moonlight steps into the city where he's been imprisoned.
"He said he's coming to keep us company." The Su Lans hug one another and weep uncontrollably.
Theme: Love can overcome anything
