Shadow Guard (Female Alpha, Male Omega)

Tannu is the first Omega in the Lin family to become a shadow guard.

He endured endless days and nights of darkness, with countless lives stained across his hands. What kept him going was the hope that he might earn the right to stand beside Lin Mian and quietly watch over her.

He was willing to be the blade in her hand. Wherever her sword pointed, his blade would strike.

He asked for very little, only to be allowed to silently protect his mistress.

But one mission left both his legs crippled.

Despairing and convinced that he no longer deserved to stay by his mistress's side, he prepared to end his own life in silence. But the woman gently drew him into her arms.

A soft kiss fell on his forehead. He tried to shy away in a panic, but Lin Mian teased him, "Tannu, didn't you say you'd do anything for me?"

Another tender kiss followed.

The man, usually so reserved and aloof, flushed red in the face, his eyes reddening too. He stammered, unable to get the words out. "Mistress..."

At last, after his legs were healed, Tannu was delighted to think he could be useful again. He was about to leave on a mission when he realized in horror that his belly was growing.

"Mistress, Tannu has come down with a strange illness. This broken body is no longer fit for service. Even if I can never fight again, I can still do the laundry and cook. I only ask that you don't abandon your servant."

The stern, austere man humbly pleaded for forgiveness, his voice carrying a hint of desperation.

Lin Mian: "...Tannu, you're pregnant with my baby."

Theme: A love that never wavers.
