Those Years I Raised WTW as a Game Character

* Second-person POV, the pairing is as stated in the title, bottom, OOC, personal headcanons, writing like a primary schooler, no nitpicking, deliberate fault-finding will get you kicked out. No logic, just here to hook up with WTW. Sweet, sickeningly sweet. Everyone is an ordinary person!

Your name is Lanye Yuan Zhen. You're a mature, 21-year-old office worker with a job. Your cousin passionately recommended a game that lets you customize the protagonist, and after her enthusiastic sales pitch, you were bored enough to buy the otome game on a whim. You raised the white-haired, underage high school boy who was the male lead as if he were your son. You made the protagonist's character settings exactly like your own, and, to be cautious, you even gave her your name.

You soon regretted it, because karma came calling.

The game is about the everyday life of [you] and a special-grade young master jujutsu sorcerer who is no ordinary person in Tokyo. Thanks to the game developers' wicked sense of humor, on your way home from work, [you] find the young master injured by a special-grade cursed spirit. Despite all the absurdities, he somehow ends up following [you] back to [your] small home. While he complains nonstop, [you] lower your eyes and bandage him. After that, he keeps coming around to bother you... A classic love story's beginning. While other people could reach the romance ending in just a few months, you somehow stuck it out until the game's timeline had advanced by a realistic two years. You went from 21 to 23, and the male lead, a high school boy, had become an adult, yet the two of you were still in this ambiguous relationship. Then, after you casually spent a thousand yen on the male lead, the game company sensed your sincerity and made him take the initiative!

"Zhen, can I kiss you?"

He phrased it as a question, but his tone was utterly certain. It sounded less like he was asking permission and more like he was simply informing you. His pale pink lips gleamed with alluring colors, his white hair shimmered under the lights, and now and then, his eyes, almost ice blue beneath his sunglasses and the lights, came into view...

Looking at that face, which must have taken the artist months of hard work to draw, you immediately quit the game, feeling that something wasn't right: You'd been raising him as your son!

Then, as revenge for getting stuck at a crucial point, you tossed and turned before finally falling asleep that night, only to have a nightmare in which you kissed your "son" himself!

You woke up.

You saw the high school boy greeting you, and you were stunned.

The nightmare had actually come true!!!
