No brush can capture the work of nature,
whose wonders are hers alone.
Dancing butterflies lose themselves along the fragrant path,
fluttering after the evening breeze.
Torn from home, adrift and alone, she struggles to survive, careful at every turn, yet cannot even find safety by yielding to others. The character who broke my heart most in The Plum Blossom Scar was Pianpian.
In Qiong Yao's story, Pianpian is only a minor character, there to set up the baby-switch plot, then to use her and her son's lowly status as a foil for the noble greatness of the Princess Consort and the Roaring Horse.
If life is a play, then we're all supporting characters in someone else's story. I hope Pianpian can take center stage in her own story and live a different kind of life.
Inspired by an article by Daren Adu, I've decided to write a story about a man transmigrating into a woman. I'll research carefully and do my best to make it feel real.
She'll enter the prince's manor, have a son, find a lover, and inevitably remarry. She must find happiness, and there will definitely be heartbreak and suffering. There's a reason for every part of it.
The protagonist has no kingly aura. She's unlucky and only a little clever. It takes many experiences before she gains real wisdom. Don't worry, given the limits of her circumstances, I absolutely won't be a wicked stepmother.
I'd like to update twice a day, but for various reasons, I can only manage one update a day for now.
I'm sorry, everyone. I feel so ashamed.
But I absolutely won't abandon this story, so feel free to jump in!
About the plot direction everyone has been arguing over: I'm truly at a loss. The Princess Consort's baby swap has to succeed. This is fan fiction based on The Plum Blossom Scar...
As for whether the prince should be swapped out, you've made me hesitate too... Actually, the prince in Grandma Qiong Yao's story is pretty decent. How about this: once the male lead makes his appearance, you can decide whether to sacrifice him or the prince...
I'm such an indecisive author. How will I ever write a tragic story in the future...
Yes, yes. Waited for a long time
It's been a while since I've updated. Is this a trap?
Author, are you still there~? Are you still there~? It's been more than a year
= =I suspect Roubaozi is also wearing it
Another pit. . You are a sinner!!!
What a trap. I'm speechless.
I would like to ask you where you were arrested? Can you be released on bail? I really care about your writing and don't want you to be sentenced to life.
This is definitely a big hole that will last for thousands of years. When will you come back? Oh, ah! Whether you are here or not, I will turn into a roaring horse to find you.
You're a big trap in your old age!!!
I can't figure out what kind of feelings this prince has for Pianpian. Embarrassing.
