To discover how her parents' love story began, Jiang An packed her bags and took a train to a remote town in the south.
On her first day in town, she met a man named Lu Ye. There was a hint of impatience in his eyes, and his whole bearing was wild.
Jiang An was a little afraid of him, but she had no food or water, so she swallowed her pride and asked him to share his instant noodles.
That one meal turned into sharing food for the whole trip.
Later, something came up at home, and she had to leave early. Lu Ye took a gulp of liquor and suddenly kissed her. "Jiang An, we have all the time in the world."
A few months later, Jiang An went to meet a friend. When she turned around, she saw him leaning in the doorway with a roguish smile. "Long time no see."

At university, Shen Jianjue was full of confidence. After a single game of basketball, he could find several love letters stuffed into his jacket. Back then, Jiang Jinhuan was always teasing him with a smile, calling him "Brother Shen."
Jiang Jinhuan had always thought he liked the beauty queen at her art school. Later, when she brought it up with the girl, the beauty queen looked completely baffled. "Shen Jianjue? He's my cousin."
Jiang Jinhuan froze. If he didn't like the beauty queen, why was he always visiting her?
Then one day, the man got drunk and crouched in front of her, holding out a bottle full of folded paper stars as if it were a precious gift. Every single star had a name written on it: Jiang Jinhuan.
Back then, she had folded a bottleful of stars too, but she'd written someone else's name on them.
So all those times he'd come to her school and brought her milk tea weren't because he was her brother's friend.
It was because... he liked her?
One rainy night, with rain pouring down, he stood soaked through and reeking of alcohol beneath her apartment building. His voice was hoarse and dejected. "Why does everyone know I like you except you?"

Jiang Jinhuan met Shen Jianjue again at the wedding of the man she'd had a crush on. She was a guest, while he was one of the groomsmen.
Shen Jianjue greeted her coolly. "Long time no see."
He seemed just like a stranger.
After the wedding, Jiang Jinhuan went to a bar to drink her sorrows away, where a drunk started harassing her. Just as she was at a loss for what to do, Shen Jianjue rushed over and got her out of trouble, but nearly ended up at the police station himself.
Some time later, Jiang Jinhuan asked him why he'd hit the man so hard.
Shen Jianjue coughed and his ears turned faintly red. "I've pined for you for years without daring to cross the line. Why should he get to put his hands on you and call you 'wife' just because he was drunk?"
Theme: Keep striving through life, and everything will get better
Fans are always stupid. They have the nerve to see a woman and wonder if she is worthy of your brother? Come on, is your brother worthy of me?
Why does this writing style feel like it's gone after writing?
I feel that the heroine is not very good at handling Zhuma's relationship and she even stayed at his house.
Sprinkle flowers, it feels good
Are there any gentle men out there, sisters?
The ending of "Spreading Flowers" is really beautiful. I have always thought that the relationship of three meals a day for four seasons is very romantic. Although it is bland, I am really envious of it.
Help, it's so beautiful. It's so sweet. I got it.
Indeed, but it's too late to say anything now. Why did you do it earlier? [Rolls eyes]
Three meals a day for two people, four seasons, ahhh, I really like it, but it's too short, oooooooooo
What a pity. I can only say what a pity.
