Whatever You Do, Don't Fall in Love with Her

[1]

At a company party, the son of the company's big boss had rushed back from a week-long business trip. The newly appointed executive vice president leaned close to her ear and said, "When the party's over, come home with me. I've missed you."

-

When Jing Bing first started dating Ji Linzhi, he needed a pretend girlfriend to appease his family. She could make some money and learn a thing or two by staying close to the vice president.

They agreed he wouldn't need her anymore after three months.

When that man came back to her, hoping to rekindle their relationship, she couldn't leave anymore.

"Stay by my side."

Jing Bing: Why did President Ji suddenly change his mind?!

[2]

As someone of little consequence in this city, Jing Bing was sometimes so weighed down by the pressure of life that she could barely catch her breath.

Jing Bing didn't hope for love. She'd never found it in all her years.

The kind of love where someone truly treasured her and treated her like a precious jewel.

All she wanted was to make more money and get rich.

She only thought of Ji Linzhi as a brief passerby in her life: this vice president, who looked down on love, was dazzling and untouchable, a star she could only gaze up at. She'd do as he asked and pretend to be his girlfriend in exchange for money. She never expected that this busy man would always be there with an umbrella when it rained, or a hug when she was sad.

He gave her shelter from the storm and made her heart flutter.

He gave her romance and excitement.

It turned out she could have the fairy-tale love she'd always dreamed of.

The big boss, hopelessly smitten with her and changed by her, X the little employee who just wants to work hard and earn a living, with no intention of getting emotionally involved

[She never hoped for love, yet love quietly found her. She used to think loving herself was enough, but then she gained his love too.]
