You are an outstanding knight. You strictly uphold the spirit of chivalry and strive to be a Lei Feng for the new era (?). When you grow up, your teacher recommends you for the Demon Hunt Squad trials, and you make it all the way to the finals. There's always someone better, and the contestants from the various great temples are incredibly strong. But you get lucky and defeat them to become champion. Then, during the draw, you end up with a group of powerful companions and form your own Demon Hunt Squad.
What you don't know, however, is that your teammates are: Yan Shao, a reincarnated saint who successfully assassinated the Demon God Emperor a thousand years ago; Cecilia, a half-elf Archmage who created the modern magic system; Light Sword God Ye Wushang, whom the Demon God Emperor called the Temple Alliance's strongest fighter; Qi Wenhao, founder of the hard-hitting priest style; and Tiangong, a former necromancer capable of forging divine artifacts.
Fortunately, you know nothing about any of this. Congratulations, congratulations (in a deadpan voice).
Yan Shao: This proves I'm the strongest assassin.
Cecilia: Because I'm a mage.
Ye Wushang: Say it. I'll protect everything a warrior stands for.
Qi Wenhao: It is our duty to restore the glory of priests!
Tiangong: Everything within my sight is hell.
Wang Xiaoming: Becoming the Alliance chairman is what counts as success.
Please note:
1. I'm still drafting this, and I don't know when it will start updating.
2. The blurb is written in second person, but the story itself is in third person.
3. The male lead is strong too. He's not some useless guy who can only ride on other people's coattails.
4. The blurb doesn't represent the final quality of the story.
Theme: Everyone has a light of their own
