Huo Fei is the rich, beautiful ex-girlfriend of a top-tier star who is the male lead of an entertainment-industry novel.
According to the plot, she plans to get back together with him on a breakup-themed dating show. Not only does she become a foil to the original novel's female lead, she is also mocked across the internet as the ultimate doormat.
But on the eve of filming, she accidentally hits her head. Not only does she awaken to her own self-awareness, she also gets bound to a System called the White Lotus Makeover Program.
System: "As long as you complete the tasks, Host can win the male lead's heart again!"
Rebellious Huo Fei puts on her sunglasses and sneers. "What kind of stupid tasks are these? Is he even worth it?"

On the first day of filming, she meets her top-tier star ex. He gazes at her tenderly, looking nostalgic, as if he still can't forget her.
System: "You have to cry prettily, so he feels sorry for you and wants to protect you!"
"Never thought we'd see each other again," Huo Fei says, leisurely sipping her coffee, utterly unfazed. "What rotten luck."
Drawn for a date with a playboy, she gets a mouthful of practiced lines. He pretends to be straightforward: "I'm popular, but my heart belongs to you alone."
System: "Go along with it and confess your true feelings to him!"
"What a coincidence," Huo Fei says, nodding without a care. "My heart belongs to me alone, too."
A fake-sweet girl puts on a sugary voice, pretends to cut her hand while cooking, and sobs for comfort.
System: "Go comfort her gently. Show more sides of your personality and how considerate you are."
Huo Fei immediately goes over. "Oh, are you crying tears of joy because your wound healed so quickly?"
A mature woman nursing a broken heart sees her ex getting hot and heavy with someone else. She can't hold back her tears and even wants to leave the show.
System: "The winner takes all, and the loser is cast aside. Hurry and pick out a dress for tomorrow's date. Don't pay attention to a nobody."
Huo Fei cancels tomorrow's date outright, then takes the mature woman out in her sports car for a day of fun.

The System is furious: Host is too rebellious! I'm going on strike!
But after the show airs, Huo Fei becomes a sensation.
She not only becomes the most popular female guest on the show, but also wins the admiration and affection of countless viewers.
Viewers: Feifei is everyone's dream girl, clear-headed and beautiful. She's the ultimate cool girl!
Huo Fei finally makes it to the end of filming, ready to go home and retire in peace. Huh?
Theme: Confidence is the most important thing.
