Pre-release: Forged Blue Stone [Interstellar]. Add it to your library if you're interested. The blurb is at the end. Chu Yunshu, who returned from the apocalypse, honors the promise made by the body's original owner and sets out on the path of figure skating. A promise is a promise. To put the young girl at ease, she agreed without hesitation. Heaven knows how she's supposed to go from being an idiot who can't even land a single rotation to an ordinary skater who can land a triple jump without making a complete fool of herself. Especially since, although she's now a provisional member of the national team, one of her legs is broken, and recovery could take months. Even more terrifying, China's women's singles figure skating team is short on both veterans and new talent, and the Winter Olympics are being held at home next year. As a promising skater who moved up a division this year, she has high hopes resting on her from everyone, from coaches and officials to skating fans. Chu Yunshu clutches her head in despair: Help! Years later, Chu Yunshu, hailed as the Demon King of figure skating, wins the first Grand Slam of her life. During her post-competition interview, a clip is playing on screen of snowboarding star Qiu Lubai's astonishing gold-medal-winning jump. The reporter asks, "Hello, Yunshu. I hear you and Ms. Qiu Lubai are close friends. Now that both of you have achieved a Grand Slam, could you share a little story about the two of you with our audience?" Chu Yunshu thinks for a moment, then manages to get out a few words: "We've been involved... No, I mean, we both broke a leg and ended up in the same hospital!" Skaters' abilities are based on the PyeongChang Olympic cycle, and the scoring system follows the 2018/19 rules (GOE ±5). 3. The protagonist is a not-so-overpowered Mary Sue. She won't instantly crush everyone with her eyes closed, but she will become very strong later on. 4. Her only golden finger is a faster recovery from injuries. Blurb for Forged Blue Stone: In her previous life, Sun Xueji was both respected and hated. Some said she cared for the people, had a glorious record, and was a loyal and capable servant of the imperial family. Others called her sinister and cunning, her moods impossible to predict, and claimed she did everything just to covet the position of Marshal. Only Sun Xueji knew that they were all right. The turning point that brought about all of this was a person named Xian Qingqiu. When the weapon she invented was stolen and used by the imperial family, making it the cause of her dear friend Xian Qingqiu's death, there was no going back. She climbed the ranks by any means necessary, sacrificing everything she had to carry on Xian Qingqiu's unfinished dream, and to atone for her sins. In the end, the rebel army was defeated, and Sun Xueji was surrounded by a swarm of Zerg. Even in the moments before she blew herself up, she was still thinking: Qingqing, I can't repay what I owe you in this lifetime. Let me be shameless just this once, and repay you in the next. After making a wish, Sun Xueji awakes to the sound of a world-shaking explosion. She finds herself on the military training grounds of the Imperial Military Academy, with a sword pressed to her throat. The person before her is the one she has desperately missed, wearing the young face that has grown blurry in her memories. Xian Qingqiu plots viciously: This person will be a formidable rival in the future, and we were mortal enemies in our last life. I might as well "slip up" and eliminate her now. Suddenly, Sun Xueji bursts into tears and stares at her with a strange expression. Xian Qingqiu panics: Damn, was Sun Xueji this fragile when she was young? What am I supposed to do if I can't bring myself to kill her once she starts crying? Sun Xueji leans in and embraces her, not caring that the blade scrapes her neck and draws blood. Xian Qingqiu is so startled that she throws her sword ten meters away. Stiff with shock, she lets her sworn enemy hold her tightly, her confused fist wondering whether it should smash Sun Xueji's head in. She hears Sun Xueji whisper in her ear through tiny sobs, "Qingqing, I've missed you so much." Bonus scene: Xian Qingqiu bends close to Sun Xueji's ear and pants softly. "You stabbed me last life, so you owe me compensation, right? I want to be on top." Sun Xueji remains expressionless and unmoved. "You nearly slit my throat this time around, and I haven't even asked you for damages. Quit whining. Let your strength do the talking." The result of letting strength do the talking is that the two nearly give each other bloody noses fighting over who gets to be on top. Theme: Fight with passion and prepare for the Winter Olympics.
