Rabbit - Ji Ruoli

Part One, Little Bunny and His Big Fool

Synopsis: Ji Ruoli is Lin Yuan'an's curly-haired bunny, and Lin Yuan'an is Ji Ruoli's big fool.

The curly-haired bunny is perfect in every way, except for being a bit of a handful. Determined to keep this bunny, the big fool covers for him no matter how big or small the trouble, until it becomes a habit. In the end, the bunny makes a big play and leaves the big fool bankrupt. Luckily, all of the big fool's wealth ends up in the bunny's pocket.

It doesn't matter. Just consider it a bride price. As long as the bunny is in the pot, the money is too.

The story's setting is fictional: In the 1960s, to sever the illicit drug supply route connecting Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe via the Strait of Malacca, the Arabian Sea, and the Mediterranean, the International Narcotics Control Board launched a top-secret operation spanning twenty years. Ji Ruoli became an orphan because of this operation. He was a test rabbit in a laboratory, a monster bent on mad revenge, an angel saving himself, and, above all, a cleaner who would stop at nothing. Everyone believed he was a hybrid of angel and devil, except Lin Yuan'an. Together, they uncovered the real murderer of Ji's father. As they solved the case, they went from falling in love to doubting each other, and finally to trusting and choosing one another.

Part Two, Cleaner: The Witch Murders

Synopsis: After learning his father's identity and the truth about his past, Ji Ruoli develops psychological problems. He returns to an ordinary life as the Lin family's lawyer. While representing Lin Haier in an inheritance case, he returns to Penang. The Kabuti Mataqi murder case draws him into another, even more perilous family feud. Lin Yuan'an, who went to the Middle East, has gone missing. As Ji Ruoli repeatedly finds himself in danger amid a deadly plot built on witchcraft, the trust the two have only just established is put to the test...
