[Crossover] Iris on the Shore

Zhiruo could have cursed the heavens a hundred times over. She had finally gotten away from Zhang Wuji and his saintly ways, thwarted Zhao Min's schemes, won over the future emperor, obtained the finest martial arts manual, become the leader of the Emei Sect, and defeated the Shaolin masters, establishing Emei's standing in the martial world. She could look forward to spending the rest of her days as the revered leader of Emei. But in the blink of an eye, the world around her changed. Damn heavens, are you messing with me? In an instant, she went from being the revered leader of one of the Six Great Sects to a near-slave, and the world changed from a martial arts setting into a comic. Zhiruo was very much not okay. Life is hard, Zhiruo sighed. The road ahead was long, and staying alive was what mattered most. Primarily a One Piece fanfic. I plan to write two stories: one with a female Marine protagonist, and one with a female pirate protagonist. They take place in completely unrelated worlds, so you can read them separately. I'll deal with pairings later. At the start, the protagonists are focused on their careers, with only some one-sided romantic tension. Reader's guide: 1. A mix of romance and plot. 2. Contains original worldbuilding and may be very out of character. 3. Don't get hung up on the timeline. Everything serves the plot. 4. Canon experts, please think twice before reading. 5. Let's be each other's little angels, and treasure the time we have. Updates will be rather slow. Theme: Girls should be self-reliant and keep working hard at life.
