A Heart's Desire, Overdue

Sang Yu was the villainess in a novel. Before starting high school, Cheng Wan finished reading the book in a dream. When the first year of high school began, Cheng Wan met her new deskmate.

Later, the villainess became the moon in high school student Cheng Wan's heart.

But the moon above the clouds was cold and uncaring, and, heartbroken, Cheng Wan chose to leave.

Years later, convinced she had made peace with the past, Cheng Wan returned to high society, only to meet that moon again at a banquet.

Reading guide:

1. The original plot is irrelevant from the start. The ex will get his comeuppance, and the heroine is the biggest golden finger in this story.

2. A fictional setting where same-sex marriage is legal. Logic serves the plot.

Premise: The people and things we truly love are worth holding on to.
