A side story to The Great Enterprise. The Great Enterprise isn't finished yet, so I don't dare post this one just yet.
I've already worked out the whole story, so it's unlikely to be abandoned.
I'm no good at writing blurbs, so here's an excerpt instead.
She stared blankly at the young man in his fine clothes, riding a spirited horse, but she could no longer call out, “Brother Qin.” Little did she know that this bridal crown and robe belonged to someone else.
She lowered her eyes. What did the daily grind of cooking and household chores matter? In this moment, all she wanted was to remember the love that had passed, the love she had cast aside.
As she tossed up the white silk sash, she seemed to hear a young man calling up to her from below: “A Wu, A Wu. Won't you come see me, just once...”
Tears clung to her lashes. As she struggled, she forced her lips to form the words, “No.”
At last, it became a song of lament.
Premise:
It looks so sad!!
