Phoenix Pond: Qing (Grass on the Plain)

This is a revised version of The Phoenix Pond: Qing, now titled:

The Phoenix Pond: Qing (Grass on the Open Plain).

A transmigration into the Qing palace

A beautiful romance

Past lives and present lives

Sharing fortune and misfortune

The plot is made up.

Any resemblance

is purely unavoidable;

any misunderstandings

are purely coincidental.

This story was first posted in July 2007

and wasn't completed until April 2009.

It's still being revised, too. Honestly...

It's just a love story.

When he loved her, she didn't know.

When she loved him, he no longer loved her.

Sigh, but luckily,

in the end, she loved him, and he loved her too.

When someone doesn't know whom they love,

they may be of two minds.

When someone knows whom they love,

they give that person their whole heart.

A girl as humble as grass

The heroine is called Xiao Cao.

Her name is ordinary,

and so is she.

In the eyes of those who love her,

she is beautiful, unique, and the best. She excels in both literary and martial arts.

In the eyes of those who don't love her,

she is nothing but an inconspicuous blade of grass, growing by the roadside in the countryside.

The only thing to recommend her is the vibrant life force she radiates.

An unusual background,

the women of the ancient Bai Feng clan,

turns her into prey for those pursuing power at its center.

(All right, I'll just say it: the heroine, Ding Xiao Cao, may end up with Wei Furui. Every imperial prince becomes a supporting character. But the story hasn't reached anything as serious as marriage yet, so I don't know whether there'll be a sequel. Probably not, since there's a saying about adding a dog's tail to a sable coat. This story isn't a sable coat in the first place, it's a dog, so there's even less reason to tack on a dog's tail. Runs off in a huff...)

As it turns out, this story, this romance, was never just a dream of love and beauty.

The Phoenix Pond: (Song Dynasty) The Maid Outside the Ranks, also known as The Maid Outside the Ranks (Chun Cao and Zhan Zhao)

is a story about Chun Cao, Zhan Zhao, and others in the Song Dynasty.

It's currently being updated.

It's called a Seven Heroes and Five Gallants fanfic, but the story is different. It just borrows some of the characters.

What will Chun Cao, who transmigrates through time, do when she meets the upright and stalwart Zhan Zhao?

Which way will the wheels of fate turn?

And why does Chun Cao's martial arts potential suddenly explode the moment she meets Zhan Zhao?

Those who love Zhan Zhao

love his integrity and unyielding character,

and how he would gladly shed his blood for his country and its people.

They love him

simply because he is that kind of man.
