Huo Juncheng's life was short, bland, ordinary, and utterly unremarkable. It ended at the age of twenty-one, just before she graduated from college.
Her life had barely begun when she was confined to her sickbed.
Her illness progressed rapidly. In just two short years, she wasted away until she was barely recognizable. After enduring unbearable pain, she reached the end of her life. Instead of going to the legendary Palace of King Yan, she found herself in a bizarre and fantastical world.
She became a task-taker for the Time and Space Quick Transmigration Bureau. Chosen because she had no wants or needs, she was assigned a System numbered 886886. She quite liked the number. Bye-bye, bye-bye.

As a task-taker, Huo Juncheng felt neither joy nor sorrow, neither worry nor delight. She simply went with the flow and adapted to each new place, completing her tasks at an easy pace and living like a contented slacker.
Then a new director took office and set about making changes. Once the Three Rules for Quick Transmigration Workers were announced, Huo Juncheng, one of the people responsible for their creation, found her slacker days slipping away. She was forced to take her work seriously and toil like a corporate drone...
The Three Rules and Regulations from On the Professional Quick Transmigration Worker's Self-Cultivation:
Rule One: Unless special circumstances apply, a task must be completed within the time limit set by the contract.
Rule Two: Unless special circumstances apply, task-takers must not act against the Host's wishes, usurp the Host's place, or deviate from the Host's image without the Host's consent.
Rule Three: Unless special circumstances apply, the Host's requests come first, and the Host's wishes take priority. Strictly uphold your own principles and protect the interests of the Quick Transmigration Bureau.
World One: I Want to Seize Power (ABO), an absurd and despotic empress (a laid-back, ascetic empress) x a cool and self-possessed empress consort (an empress consort who loves in vain). [She runs, she chases, and she wants to fly away]
World Two: The CEO's Remorse, an awakened CEO x a childhood friend who rejects love-brain behavior and focuses on her career
World Three: This Monk's Heart Is Burdened with Guilt, a young monk who attains enlightenment travels through three thousand years, seeking a way for his cinnabar mole and the universally despised little demoness to survive
Other worlds to be decided, mostly historical settings.
